Hi, my name is Jeremy but please call me Jezz.
I offer psychotherapeutic counselling for adults who are facing all kinds of challenges in their lives and how they impact their psychological and emotional wellbeing; often in ways that leave them feeling bad about themselves, others or the world.
Therapy with me is a reflective space to be with your thoughts and feelings, without feeling bad about them. Here, you can begin to feel OK being yourself, even if others disapprove or when the world feels scary or uncertain.
You are the expert when it comes to you
I am a relational therapist, which means I work alongside you; I do not pretend I am ‘the expert’ on You or Your Life.
Our work will be supportive, collaborative, and I may at times gently challenge you, but it is always non-judgemental, respectful and compassionate.
I will work at a pace that matches your readiness for change, and I believe you and all who are suffering are fundamentally OK, even when they are struggling.
Therapy is not about fixing what is “wrong” with you. It is about understanding who you are in the world, what you are experiencing, and what sense you can make of it to move forward with greater clarity and wellbeing.
Accessible and affordable therapy
My current fee is £45 per one-hour session, which is below a typical private therapy rate of £60+ per hour.
