I know what it is like to experience poor mental health and wellbeing. It took a long time to feel like myself again, when my own mental health became problematic. Yet, I was able to change for the better because I undertook professional therapy. I dread to think what my life would now be like if I hadn’t placed my trust in my therapist. 

You’re the expert when it comes to you

I am a Relational counsellor. That means I would be working ‘alongside’ you in a supporting, sometimes challenging, always friendly and non-judgmental way. I believe people are fundamentally OK. That people can overcome obstacles to their own mental health and wellbeing and can change their life for the better.  

How can I afford to charge less?  

Currently, my fee is £40.00 for an hour’s therapy. The average price for Private therapy is £60.00 for an hour’s therapy.

The NHS is struggling to offer medium and long-term therapy because of budget constraints. I do what I can to make private therapy accessible to people who need more than 6-12 weeks of therapy.

During the pandemic, along with many other therapists, I switched my private practice to working online. Having less overheads (travel costs, room hire etc) I reduced my fee and passed the saving on to my clients.
